Panasonic Ultra low Freezer  MDF-U700VX Dual Cooling -86C Laboratory Freezer

The MDF-U700VX is the latest ultra low freezer from Panasonic. This new ultra low freezer features Dual Cooling Technology which means that this freezer can still maintain temperatures within the -70C range even if one of it's two compressors fail. 

In a conventional ultra low freezer with cascade refrigeration systems, as used by many manufacturers, cannot produce ultra low temperatures in the event of one of the compressors failing. The resulting effect in such an ultra low freezer can lead to the potential loss of samples, due to loss of freezing ability. However, in the new Panasonic dual cooling ultra low freezer, greater sample protection is provided because it can still maintain a temperature in the -70C range continuously, even if one of its compressors fails.

This ultra low freezer is designed around sample safety and offers more protection than conventional laboratory freezers.

In addition to dual cooling technology, the MDF-U700VX features an extensive alarm system and VIP Vacuum Insulation panels to further protect your samples. The VIP insulation means that you can store 30% more samples in this laboratory freezer than you could in a conventional freezer of equal size. The VIP thin wall technology also means that less space is taken up in your laboratory because of the small footprint. An LCD display also logs data within a preset period so that you can view that your samples are stored at the correct temperature

Maintenance is also reduced on the MDF-U700VX because there are no air filters to monitor and be cleaned.
